By accessing or using JSON Tools by KearAI (the “Service”), located at https://json.kearai.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

2. Description of Service

JSON Tools by KearAI is a free, web-based JSON toolkit that provides tools for formatting, validating, minifying, repairing, comparing, and converting JSON data. The Service also includes an AI assistant powered by third-party AI services for JSON-related queries. All core JSON processing tools operate entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. No registration or account is required to use the Service.

3. Eligibility

The Service is available to users of all ages. However, if you are under the age of 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you understand and agree to these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to process, transmit, or store data that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Use the AI Assistant to generate content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred against any individual or group.
  • Use the AI Assistant to generate spam, phishing materials, malware, or any form of malicious content.
  • Attempt to exploit, overload, or interfere with the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service at a rate that exceeds reasonable use without our prior written consent.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the server-side components of the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Nature of AI Responses

The AI Assistant feature provides access to AI language models developed or served by third parties. AI-generated responses are produced algorithmically and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or inappropriate content. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

5.2 No Professional Advice

AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal, medical, financial, or technical advice. You should not rely on AI-generated content for making important decisions without consulting a qualified professional.

5.3 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it. You acknowledge that AI responses may be incorrect, biased, or incomplete, and that you use such content at your own risk.

6. User Data and Privacy

6.1 Client-Side Processing

All core JSON tools (format, validate, minify, repair, convert, compare, etc.) process your data entirely in your browser. This data is never sent to our servers.

6.2 AI Assistant Data

When you use the AI Assistant, the content of your prompt and any JSON data you provide are transmitted to our server and forwarded to our configured AI gateway and model providers for processing. By using the AI Assistant, you consent to this data transmission. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information through the AI Assistant.

6.3 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Service Ownership

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by JSON Tools by KearAI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service except as expressly stated herein.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any data you process through the Service. Since core tools operate client-side, your data is not transmitted to or stored by us (except as described in Section 6.2 for AI Assistant requests).

7.3 AI-Generated Content

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may use AI-generated content produced through the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You acknowledge that similar or identical content may be generated for other users, and that AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and relies upon third-party services, including but not limited to AI gateway/model providers, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Cloudflare (CDN and security), and Google Fonts. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of any third-party service providers.

9. Availability and Modifications

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain the availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. The Service may be subject to delays, interruptions, or limitations due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

9.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

9.3 Tool and AI Model Availability

The availability of specific tools and AI models is subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee that any particular tool or AI model will remain available through the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR TOOL OUTPUT.
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
  • WARRANTIES REGARDING THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JSON TOOLS BY KEARAI, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
  • Any AI-generated content or tool output obtained from the Service.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JSON Tools by KearAI, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
  • Any data you process through the Service.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you are entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the member state in which you are domiciled, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JSON Tools by KearAI regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
