JSON Formatter
Readable JSON makes API responses, configuration files and debug logs easier to inspect. Formatting changes whitespace without rewriting string values or numeric tokens, including large integers. The output stays separate from your source so you can review it before copying or downloading.

Valid JSON uses double-quoted keys, allows no trailing commas and supports objects, arrays, strings, numbers, booleans and null. This validator highlights syntax errors and separately warns about duplicate keys and numbers that JavaScript may round. A valid document may still have data-quality warnings.

Minification removes indentation and line breaks outside strings. It is useful for compact fixtures, embedded configuration and transferring JSON. This tool preserves the spelling of numbers instead of parsing and reserializing them through JavaScript, so large IDs are not silently rounded.

CSV works best with an array of objects representing rows. The converter uses object keys as column names and escapes commas, quotes and newlines in cells. Nested values are serialized as JSON text. When opening untrusted CSV in spreadsheet software, import cells as text to avoid interpreting formulas.

YAML is often used for configuration files where readability matters. The converter handles nested mappings, sequences and multiline text. In the reverse direction, duplicate mapping keys and unsafe numbers are rejected, and alias expansion is limited. YAML-specific values that JSON cannot represent are reported as errors.

Generate a Root type directly from sample JSON. Array records are examined together so missing properties become optional and mixed values produce union types. Types are inferred from the supplied samples, so review them against your API contract before using them in production.

Compare structured JSON values rather than indentation. Object key order does not create a difference, while array positions remain significant. The result identifies the paths of changed values. Precision-sensitive numbers and duplicate keys should be resolved before comparing parsed values.

JSON Lines stores one complete JSON value per line and is commonly used for logs and data exports. Blank lines are ignored on import, while malformed records report their line number. Import preserves original number tokens; export blocks values that would lose numeric precision.
